RISE & RHYME WRITER'S STUDIO
In the spirit of reviving a journaling and Dear Diary writing practice, Zena Edwards Poet, Curator and Project Maker brings a new series or writing workshops to inspire your creative writing life.
Rise and Rhyme is a morning poetry space where we meet the day with language, imagination, and grit.
In just 30 to 45 minutes, we’ll stretch our creative muscles, dive into poetic craft, and explore how creative writing can be both grounding and expansive.
Theme For Every Month: like Dream Logic, Patterns, and The Nature Of Time—while exploring the writing life through a neurodivergent and unconventional lens. This approach is designed to help you tap into your creative instincts, expand your perspective, and generate fresh, pioneering work shaped by your own unique inner landscape.
By 8am, every Thursday for a month you will receive, directly to your email a writing seed, a catalyst of an idea to inspire your writing.
And each month there is a theme to ground our weekly prompts.
(Sneak -peek: you may even receive a little mini-prompt in between the weeks mail outs.)

Live End Of The Month Gathering

On the last Thursday of the month there will be a live morning meet-up wher you will be able to meet others sharing this journey with you. It will be just 1hour of sharing your writing, discoveries and completed works (hooray you if you have them!👏👏👏)
Why Join This Challenge?
With this weekly journaling process you will meet yourself and ohers in the space of early rising learning about what it means to write first thing specifically in the morning.

Writing With Resilient People
What does it mean to be resilient?
Resiliency has everything to do with the past.
In every scar, there’s a story—and in every story, a spark.
This mini poetry series is about gathering with others who may have been "through the fire" and found their way forward.

Whether you're a seasoned poet or just curious to see what the morning brings, this is a space to tune in, invigorating breath, and let the rhythm of a new day move through you. Come as you are—caffeinated or not—and leave a little more awake.
